Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Witness

The free one-page witness costs nothing and requires no payment, so no refund is applicable.

2. Risk Packet ($49, one-time)

A Risk Packet is a one-time purchase that generates a downloadable evidence package for a single run. Because the value is delivered the moment the packet is produced, the following applies:

• Risk Packet purchases are non-refundable once the evidence packet has been generated and made available for download in your account.
• If a technical fault on our side prevented the packet from generating, contact us and we will either re-run the witness or refund the charge.

3. Subscriptions (Drift Monitor, Agency Watch)

Drift Monitor ($99/month, up to 20 pages) and Agency Watch ($249/month) are recurring subscriptions billed in advance each month.

• Subscriptions are not refunded for partial months. When you cancel, your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period.
• We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused pages, runs, or days within a paid month.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until that date and are not charged again. No cancellation fee applies.

5. Billing-error review

If you believe a charge was made in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation — contact legal@overlayrisk.com within 7 days of the charge. Include the email on your account and the approximate date and amount. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and issue a refund where a billing error is confirmed.

6. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer and is typically 5–10 business days after we initiate the refund.

7. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws that apply to you.
